Elizabeth advises clients on a broad range of areas including corporate, commercial, employment, real estate and banking.
She provides legal assistance in project and asset financing transactions, advises non-profit organizations on compliance matters, and has experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, conducting due diligence exercises and company secretarial work.
Prior to joining the team, Elizabeth led an international award-winning not-for-profit organization in Tanzania. She also interned with Clyde & Co Tanzania, briefly worked a program assistant manager for a children’s trust and as a consultant for an aviation company and for a non-profit organization that helps noma (a gangrenous infection of the face) victims with facial reconstruction.
Elizabeth is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and Tanzania Women Lawyers Association. She graduated from University of Sheffield with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2008, obtained a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from University of Leicester in 2010 and completed her Post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law School of Tanzania in 2018.
Elizabeth enjoys learning about different cultures and languages and enjoys expressing her creativity through her love of baking.
